User modes
There are two modes to use Hepatitis Virus Database.
One is account mode, in which users can use full functions of the DB,
and another one is non-account mode in which users can use only
a part of prepared functions.
1. account mode
Before using this mode, users need to get their account from the
submission form. Accounts are
used to manage users' raw data and analyses results (who own which data).
It is not used for any charge. Once submitting it, a user
will be receive an account via E-mail.
In this mode, users can use the following functions.
- View map information and extract data by reference of it.
- View data of divisions which are prepared in master databases. Data
extraction by reference of phylogenetic trees can also be done.
- BLAST/FASTA similarity searches.
- Make private divisions and execute phylogenetic analyses.
- Execute virus typing.
2. non-account mode
Users who do not have access accounts will use the DB by this mode. In this
mode, users can use the following functions only.
- View map information and extract data by reference of it.
- View data of divisions which are prepared in master databases. Data
extraction by reference of phylogenetic trees can also be done.
- BLAST/FASTA similarity searches.
